Ace-Hi is a western-themed ranch situated in what’s called the Cups Country at Cape Schanck. Cups Country is a term used to describe dunes or rolling hills, representative of our landscape. A unique and exciting setting for a wedding.

Planning Essentials
Spaces available
There are a number of wonderful areas that couples can utilise on The Ranch. The charismatic Barn under festoons or fairy lights is the perfect place for a reception, or there's a vast open space surrounded by hills for those couples who prefer a marquee, tipi or sperry tent.
There are a numerous ceremony options, including a beautiful sandstone chapel and a rotunda looking over the whole property.
The Ranch can also accommodate up to 150 guests in its cosy log cabins.
Wedding planners
A wedding planner is not included.
Vendors
The Ranch is completely DIY, so couples can completely do it their way!
They can choose their own caterers, so if they want food trucks – they can have food trucks. Every couple wants something different and The Ranch offers couples the flexibility to utilise and style the space to their needs and desires.
For those couples who want help, we also offer setup packages and prop hire options.

Couples and their guests can make a weekend of their wedding as they have access to the Barn and all accommodation from Friday at 3:30pm until Sunday at 11:00am.

Yes. While we have recommended suppliers (including caterers), couples are not restricted to using them.

Yes. Couples are welcome to bring in their own alcohol.
Table settings
We provide wooden tables with bench seats in the Barn and the Chapel has beautiful old wooden pews.
Being a DIY venue – couples (and or their caterers) bring their own crockery, cutlery and glassware. We do also offer set up packages that include these items.

Access to the Barn and all accommodation from Friday at 3:30pm until Sunday at 11:00am.
Storage

Clean-up
The property is to be left as it was found. We offer a clean-up package for those couples who don't want to think about it!
Access
We do have a ramp that can be utilised for access into the Barn as well as one of our log cabins.
Security
We do not provide security, nor do we think it's required. We're happy for people to provide their own security if they think it's required.
Insurance
We have Public Liability that insures for the hire of our property and its contents. Individual suppliers need to have their own.
