A working farm in York, Western Australia is becoming home to a new wedding destination.
It’s been great to see business owners use this time in isolation as an opportunity to renovate or start something new, building better experiences for couples when wedding preparations can resume again.
On our radar is Barton Park, a new event space and wedding venue in the Avon Valley, an hour’s drive from Perth.
Well under construction, it comes from the family behind the Quellington School Farmstay accommodation and Alfie the vintage caravan bar.
As sixth-generation farmers, the working property has a rich history, and its progression towards a wedding and event space has felt natural so far. The project has kept all the family busy during the lockdown, and we can’t wait to see the final result.
